I make technology
feel natural.

I’m Mayank. An operator turned product builder, combining 12+ years in hospitality with hands-on web, mobile, and AI development. I work close to users, understand the messy workflow, and build the system that makes it work.

From hospitality to building

Good technology has a human side.

Hospitality taught me to notice the details: the awkward handoff, the extra step, the moment someone needs help. Building software gave me another way to care about them.

That’s what I bring to my work: operational understanding, curiosity, and the belief that useful things can be beautiful, too.

03 / How I work

I’ve been the person
on the other side
of the software.

My background is in hospitality operations: leading teams, managing service, coordinating events, and making decisions when the floor is busy and the handoffs matter.

That experience shapes what I build. I start with the staff member doing the work, the manager approving it, and the information that gets lost between them. Then I turn that understanding into a usable workflow.

I’m pursuing forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, and technical implementation roles where I can combine customer understanding with hands-on delivery.

Read my experience ↓
01

Understand

Walk through the existing process. Find the repeated work, exceptions, and broken handoffs.

02

Build

Connect the interface, data model, and integrations around a useful end-to-end workflow.

03

Verify

Exercise roles, failure paths, and mobile screens. Check the result a user actually receives.

04

Iterate

Use real feedback and operational issues to guide the next improvement.

04 / Capabilities

Across the implementation.

Product & application engineering

TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, REST APIs, and responsive interfaces. Capacitor for native mobile shells.

Data, identity & integrations

PostgreSQL, Neon, Drizzle, Firebase, Cloudflare Workers, D1, and R2. Authentication, role permissions, payments, and notifications.

Applied AI

Transcription, structured extraction, editable generated documents, and questions over saved records. Server-side model calls and explicit failure handling.

Customer-facing delivery

Workflow discovery, requirements, stakeholder communication, onboarding, and incident investigation. Translating operational context into product decisions.
